Job Description
Global Optics is well established Underground and Aerial Construction contractor in Texas, with an ever increasing market presence and growth. We need your help to make this growth successful.

Job Duties:
• Confirm bore path with install foreman and drill operator (including walking the bore path).
• Ensure there are proper clearances to install the product per standards.
• Record the depth of the drill path as required.
• Ensure the drill head is in a good position at the exit pit to connect the product.
• Oversee laborers and/or crew member's work and monitor time usage
• Conduct post-job quality checks and clean up.
• Clean, check fluid levels and conduct a visual inspection of vehicle/equipment to assure your vehicle/equipment is performing at optimum safety, perform the required. Pre-trip, post trip inspections and the required paperwork.
• Follows specifications for the job and company policies
Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years experience as the Bore Crew Locator
Knowledge of reading and interpreting AT&T and/or CATV design prints
Previous experience in standard and high-risk areas a preferred
Previous rock boring experience a plus
Knowledge of utility depths and placements
Possess general knowledge of construction practices
Knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints is required
Ability to work in various environments/settings with moderate to loud noise levels
Equipped to work in trenches, manholes and tunnels
Prepared to sit, stand, stop, crouch, reach and lift for long periods of time
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
Capable to use full-range of motion in fingers, hand and wrists to operate necessary tools/equipment
