Job Description

PRG is looking for an outstanding OSP Construction Coordinator with extensive fiber and underground construction experience.

Responsibilities
Position will coordinate with third parties planning construction projects near existing fiber infrastructure, with a goal of raising awareness and minimizing damage to that existing infrastructure. Coordinator will communicate with third parties regarding the construction schedule, survey construction locations to verify that locates have been completed prior to construction beginning, monitor third party work via daily onsite visits during construction and report on project status.



Qualified candidates should be able to:

Build and maintain productive relationships with third-party points of contact
Perform site surveys and spot check accuracy of USIC-completed locates
Monitor construction onsite and make recommendations regarding construction plans to best avoid damage to existing infrastructure
Adhere to safety best practices at all times while in the field
Qualifications
Qualified candidates MUST meet the following requirements:





5+ years in OSP cable construction, with extensive knowledge of underground and excavation work specifically
Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Candidate must have own vehicle in acceptable condition (to be determined by hiring manager) - mileage reimbursement will be paid at a standard Federal rate.
Other requirements: Overtime will be required at times based on the volume of work.



Compensation

Salary: $28-$34/hourly
