Job Description
This project's primary objective is the build a new, full scale, fiber optic ring and lateral infrastructure designed to provide data services to wireless carriers and business customers in and around the City of El Paso. The scope of this project encompasses both aerial and underground construction applications and methods which would include restoration and each respective contractors responsibility for dig tickets. Installation of (1) 2” HDPE conduit in all buried applications, with potential upsizing on count or size as is necessary per design, as well as installation of new aerial strand and fiber as per design. Fiber sizes that will most commonly be used on this project are 48, 72, 288, 432, and 864. The vast majority of this work will be done in the ROW and rear easement work is minimal. Various methods of installation practices will be used such as HDD, trench, and plow. Materials will be supplied by GW Communications Solutions or the customer. All equipment must be supplied by the Sub-Contractor.
