Job Description
Prince Telecom, a national leader in the telecommunications field, is looking for Licensed Alarm Installation Technicians. We offer growth potential, paid training and competitive benefits for qualified applicants.
This is an hourly position pay depending on experience.
*****MUST have state licenses where required*****
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Installation and Service of residential and commercial security systems, including card access and CCTV systems.
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and replacing wiring/equipment as needed.
Install proprietary apps on customers mobile devices.
Provide customer education on all products and services and answer any and all questions about the installation or services.
Submit dailies, work orders and necessary paperwork completely and in a timely manner on a daily basis.
Conform with and abide by all SAFETY requirements, regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
Maintain a clean vehicle and workspace at all times.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to provide state required license to install security systems.
Experience with the following preferred: Honeywell Fire and Security Systems, DMP Systems, Access Control, and/or CCTV.
Successful completion of training and/or certification programs.
Flexible schedule and the ability to travel.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent written and oral communication.
Valid driver's license required.
Attention to detail.
Flexible team player
WORK SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
Operational days and work hours will vary and could include evening and over night shifts. Days will end upon completion of all required work orders
Required to complete job assignments for each day prior to completion of operational hours.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Overhead lifting, climbing & carrying ladders with a weight of 100 lbs.
Working in confined spaces
Working in Inclement weather
Walking & sitting
Kneeling & crouching
Driving
