Job Description

OUR COMPANY IS SEEKING AN OFFICE MANAGER. WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN INDIVIDUAL WHO IS EFFICIENT, DETAIL ORIENTED AND A TEAM PLAYER. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS JOB IS RESOURCEFUL, A MULTI TASKER, A GOOD PROBLEM SOLVER AND ORGANIZED. ASSURING A STEADY COMPLETION OF WORKLOAD, IN A TIMELY MANNER IS KEY TO SUCCESS IN THIS POSITION.
ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIRED SKILLS
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effectiveness of running of local offices
• Assist local operations management team with office management needs
• Manage local office rental housing
• Maintain local office PO log
• Maintain local office Business License log
• Maintain local offices “Call Out” Log
• Maintain office equipment
• Maintain local HR files
• Keep Senior Management informed of any important issues
• Employee disciplinary actions
• Responsible for the processing of pre-employment paperwork of potential candidates
• Partner with Corporate Human Resources staff to serve as an extension of HR to local offices
• Gather and complete all new hire employment, benefit, and termination paperwork
• Maintain positive relationships with Corporate, local offices, and local staff
• Responsible for the compilation of the data the comprises the bi-weekly payroll
• Collect and submit accurate employee timesheets to Payroll for processing
• Manage facilities maintenance by researching and interviewing vendors
• Oversee purchasing and efficient use of office supplies
• Address employees queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, hardware and travel arrangements)
• Liaison with facility vendors, including cleaning, gardening, office equipment
• Process new vendor/sub-contractors agreements
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned
• Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• High School diploma or higher
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – especially Excel
• Some supervisory experience is desirable
• Office Management experience
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Bilingual – English and Spanish
• Clean drivers license
• Some knowledge of the Cable or Construction industries
