Job Description
We are currently seeking a LONG TERM contractor for Coax Splicing/Aerial Construction in Vineland, NJ.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Troubleshooting and repair of Coax line and line equipment
• Activation of a RF line and signal
• RF interference detection
• Final certification of RF line and correct signal balance
• Splice overhead coaxial cables
• Climb utility poles and utilize truck-mounted lift buckets to complete daily construction assignments as needed
• Cut and prepare coaxial cable prior to splicing and prepare electronics
• Ensure that all needed tools and equipment are available at the job site
• Work from engineered blueprints
• Keep track of production
• Field train and control/oversee the work of other Splicers when necessary
• Resolve complaints with property owners in the work area
• Mark-up maps, track work hours and complete “as-built maps” for areas built
• Reconcile all issued parts and materials on a daily basis to ensure accurate material usage
