Job Description
We are seeking experienced Equipment operators for utility work. The right candidates will be a reliable, self-motivated, multi-tasker with the ability to take direction.
Bury Underground Utilities - Operators needed to help install drops, span replacements and be familiar with all operations of underground placement. Ditch witch or Vermeer operation is required. Knowledge of all one call laws and use of locating equipment. Installing catv spans and drops, driveway and road bores with stick boring, plowing, trenching, hand digging, installing peds, vaults, etc, locating service lines and all the existing lines we are replacing.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Bury service lines minimum 12” to 18” depth with hand trenching when required and with drop plows and boring capabilities
• Read and understand existing underground facility locates
• Identify and locate unmarked utilities
• Must own locater and tool requirements that will be provided at interview
• Restore job site to the original condition
• Responsible for damages
[[?]] Review all requested and existing services with the customer before installation of new lines
