Wiseconnect is seeking OSP Coax Cable Splicers
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Cable Splicer experience
• Vehicle (i.e. Pick-up truck; Cargo Van; SUV) w/ladder rack
• Telecom hand tools (wire crimper; wire stripper, etc.)
• Personal hand tools (power drill, hammer, screw drivers, etc)
• Ladders 28' & 6'
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Inspect and test lines or cables, analyze results, and evaluate transmission characteristics
• Cover conductors with insulation or seal splices with moisture-proof covering
• Assemble and fabricate rope slings
• Operate spooling machinery
• Install, splice, test, and repair high voltage cables using tools or mechanical equipment
