Job Description
Immediate Openings for Outside Plant Engineer/Project Coordinator
$1,500 Sign-On Bonus for applicants who are eligible.
OPE/Project Coordinators are responsible for the overall coordination of HFC build projects. OPEs work directly with field and office personnel to determine the project scope and timelines while assisting with project completion.
Duties and Responsibilities for this position may include but not be limited to the following:
Walkout project sites to obtain all pertinent information related to project scope.
Create project site plans and applicable SOW packets.
Determine needed resources and materials for project.
Determine project permitting needs.
Working directly with customers regarding scope and timelines.
Determine project tie-in locations.
Schedule locate services as needed.
Mark-up existing plant prints and work with design team to create new build prints.
Determine TCP/Flagging needs.
Project estimating.
Qualified candidates should possess some or all of the following:
Knowledge of HFC network.
Knowledge of aerial and underground HFC plant terminology.
Possess an understanding of equipment and devices required for HFC construction projects.
Possess the ability to read, understand, and construct HFC plant from design plans or Node print.
Familiarity with National Electrical Safety Commission safety specs and guidelines.
Demonstrated use of bucket trucks.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
Ability to work in a fast paced high volume work environment.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills
Requirements:
·Pass a drug screen test
·Valid driver's license and clean driving record
·At least 21 years old
