We are currently seeking Aerial Linemen to join our dynamic Team in the Bay Area supporting a major telecommunications infrastructure project.
Job Summary
The Lineman is responsible for execution of all assigned project work in accordance with contractual obligations, design specifications, industry standards, permits, schedule and all regulatory guidelines. Ensuring the safety of the public and the work force is a primary responsibility. This member of the team will help define the means and methods for project delivery and validate overall path planning and will coordinate and share field intelligence with management.
Primary Duties Include:
• Understand how to read and construct from a design schematic of map
• Construction and repair of overhead RF and Fiber service
• Understand all inventory and equipment required for these projects
• Ability to climb poles with climbing equipment safely
• Move and relocate RF and Fiber service
• Familiar with NESC (National Electrical Safety Commission) safety guidelines
• Flagger Certified for field work as needed
• Ability to troubleshoot RF and Fiber line and or equipment issues
• Lead teams in the field effectively and efficiently as needed and directed by supervisor
Certified on the use of equipment:
• Line truck
• Bucket truck
• Cable Reel equipment
• Saws and drills
Requirements:
• A can do attitude
• 3 plus years' experience as lineman preferable
• Must have a good driving record with less than 2 points. Prefer Class A license,
• Pre-Employment Background check and drug screen
