Job Description
Our company is looking for experienced Headend, Fiber and CMTS technicians. On the job training is a possibility. Must be a hard worker and able to pass a drug/background check. Work will be done in a cable headend but you must have reliable transportation to get to the site. May require some regional travel.
FIBER
Required:
-Cleaning and scoping experience.
-Routing and dressing fiber through Headends.
-Using power and light source to identify and read fiber power measurements.
Optimal:
-CWDM channel checking
-OSP node experience (fiber and RF)
-Basic Excel Knowledge
HEADEND/CMTS
Required:
-Be able to pull, run and dress cable in.
-Cutting in cable to fit specific to equipment.
-Putting on F and Mini F connectors.
Optimal:
-Experience with MCX equipment and connectors.
-Basic Excel Knowledge
