Qualifications
The Qualified applicant should have experience working in headend and/ or data center environments. Be familiar with installing, cabling, testing, operating, and configuring headend equipment (Rf and Optical). Possess knowledge of all types of testing(OTDR, DSAM, Optical Power Meter, LAN Cable certification, etc.) Willing to train the right candidate if experience is not yet to this level, but general knowledge of these topics is a must!
Other Requirements
Having personal tools is beneficial but not required. Must have a Valid Driver's License and method of transportation. If you are required to drive for work, you will have a company supplied vehicle or be reimbursed for use of personal vehicle. Must be willing to pass a background check and drug screening.
Job Description
Several openings for Hub Techs in TN and GA, with some regional travel within the area. Travel is Monday-Friday at a maximum if required. Primary responsibilities include supporting an existing Headend/Data Center installation crew to install and cable equipment such as CMTS or Optical transmit/ receive equipment.
