Job Description
Immediate Openings for Coax Lineman/Splicer Technician
$1,500 Sign-On Bonus for applicants who are eligible.
Construction Techs are responsible for the construction and repair of aerial and underground HFC plant. Construction Techs are knowledgeable in all phases of HFC construction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Construction and repair of aerial and underground HFC plant.
Possess an understanding of equipment and devices that are required for construction projects.
Possess the ability to read, understand, and construct HFC plant from a design plans or Node print.
Have familiarity with National Electrical Safety Commission safety specs and guidelines.
Perform flagging or traffic control as needed.
Ability to climb poles safely with the use of climbing gear.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve HFC plant and equipment issues.
Ability to operate aerial line trucks, bucket, trucks, various hands tools (auger drills, saws, chain hoists, etc.), and technical equipment (signal meters, TDRs, and sweep equipment).
Ability to communicate effectively.
Requirements:
·Pass a drug screen test
·Valid driver's license and clean driving record
·At least 21 years old
