Field Service Technician—Contractor
Responsibilities
• Proven field service experience
• Understand customer requirements
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
• Able to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
• Travel to client to troubleshoot equipment problems
• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
• Diagnose errors or technical problems, diagnose proper solutions
• Manage all on-site installation, repair and test tasks
• Determine proper solutions on a timely basis
• Collaborate closely with technical team to resolve issues
• Document process and submit work orders in a timely manner

To do this role, you will need to:
• Basic tools, crimpers, strippers, drill, wire cutters, etc.
• Have experience working with small tools—construction or other industry
• Build positive relationships with customers
• Possess strong problem-solving skills
• Provide good customer support for sensitively equipment
• Understand technical diagrams and manuals
• Work well independently, with little day-to-day supervision.
• Appreciate the importance of safety and technical protocols
• Have a high personal commitment to delivering quality services t
• Possess a clean driving license and valid work vehicle
• Be physically able to kneel, bend, climb ladders and lift up to 60lbs
• Cable running experience preferred (CAT 5/6, coax, phone)
