Previous experience is required. A valid driver's license is required. Must be able to follow instructions. Must be physically able to stoop, kneel, and crouch. Must be physically able to climb ladders. Must be physically able to lift, carry and place heavy objects. Must be able to pass a drug test. Must be able to pass a background check.

RTEL Construction, LTD. is looking to fill open positions. We are a family owned and operated business based out of Aubrey TX and working throughout the DFW Metroplex. We are a Telecommunication Specialist that works in all aspects of Fiber and Coax placement, including trenching, directional drilling, aerial placement, and fiber splicing.

The current position we are actively looking to fill is a Fiber Splicer.
Responsibilities for a Fiber Splicer:
Knowledgeable of reading and understanding Bently splice docs, prints, maps, and work orders
Prepare paperwork to track daily production, and accurately as-built completed work on job site documents.
Ability to drive and back a truck and trailer proficiently.
Responsible for the operation, daily maintenance checks, and inspection of all fiber optic equipment to ensure working order
Must be able to setup, splice and test ISP/OSP fiber optic cables
Ability to work in an outdoor environment during all times of the year
Position requires daily attendance and on time arrival
Willingness to work both individually and in a team environment
Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers, homeowners, and our customers
