Job Description
Production Mappers are responsible for performing walkout of new and existing cable plant systems according to field guidelines for any given project.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
• Knowledge of cable design and construction of cable systems.
• Detailed knowledge of fielding process and/or construction practices.
• Ability to read maps.
• Strong analytical, observation and communication skills.
• Ability to learn new software and technologies.
• Ability to deal with field issues and confrontation effectively and in
a timely manner.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word & Outlook a must.
• Must be able to work outdoors.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must be highly responsible and self-motivated.
Additional Information:
• This is a production-based position.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Vehicle and necessary tools are provided for work for in house
positions.
