Looking for a candidate or candidates experienced in all aspects of CATV coax splicing and rough balancing.
Other Requirements
Must be comfortable working at heights up to 30 feet. Need to be comfortable working out of a bucket van. Must be able to carry and handle a 28' fiberglass extension ladder. Must be able to operate and understand, basic hand tools, power tools and digital cable TV signal meters.
Job Description
Long term coax splice work in Central and Southern NJ. This is not just project work. This is a long term, permanent position. Must be willing and able to splice in replacement spans both aerial and underground. MDU, SDU new and existing. New backbone activation, all aspects of cable TV construction splice work. Very little, if any digging or hanging will be done. We have crews for that. Must be drug free and have a valid driver's license. Must be willing to work a 40 hour work week. Overtime will be paid and is often times available. 10 paid days off a year. No heath or medical benefits. No 401K. This is a 100% legitimate, on the books job. We don't pay cash. Pay is weekly by check or direct deposit.
We would also consider a sub contractor. Sub would be required to have all their own, tools, truck, insurances etc. Again pay based upon experience and what you have to offer.
