Pay
A driller with a CDL would start at $20 to $25 and hour. If you do not have a CDL we will still hire you but you must commit to having your CDL within 90 days. If you qualify to be a foreman, the pay with a CDL is $20-$30/hour.

Job Description
We are as commercial construction telecommunications company based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. We install mainline fiber optic cables on a commercial basis throughout the Midwest for communication companies like Comcast, Black & Veatch, Midco, CenturyLink, etc.
We are looking for someone to be a working foreman. This person will need at least 4 years on a directional drill, and have done fiber/communication drilling, not in the oil fields. We use JT 20s and Vermeer 24/40s. Reading prints/plans/specs experience a must. Must have at least 1-2 years running a crew in the fiber world, Knowing where to whiteline, pothole, set vaults, handholds, etc.
We are also always looking for directional drillers. To be a driller or foreman you must have a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement. If you do not have a CDL we can hire you but you must commit to getting your CDL permit within the first 30 days and your Class A license within 90 days. If you do not get your license within that time-frame your salary will drop to $20/hour until you do get it.
Every person has to pass a drug test, a background check that goes back 7-10 years, have a valid driver's license, a fairly clean driving record for the past three years.
These jobs are all permanent, full-time and year-round, so there is no hotel or per-diem paid. If you are will to interview for the Missouri job and you do not live in the area, we will pay for hotel and $40/day per-diem for 30 days, giving you time to find a place to live.
