Lineman, Splicers, Aerail drops, Aerial Enclosure placement will be paid on production. OTDR testing paid houtly. Pay based on experience!
Qualifications
Lineman need to be experienced in strand and fiber placement, DE/RE Lash, overlash, and makeready. Need to be qualified to operate T-40 bucket truck. Fiber splicers need to be qualified to read cut sheets and splice lage counts. Prefer to hire someone experienced in placing fiber aerial enclosures and be qualified in bucket truck operation.
Other Requirements
Lineman, enclosure, drop crew, and splicers will need to provide their own hand tools.
Job Description
This is a fiber to the home project. Expected to take 1 year to 1 1/2 years to complete. Amarillo Telco wants to hire top techs for this project. If you are good at what you do, then I am interested in receiving a resume from you. Must have a good and valid drivers license to operate company vehicles. This project will require aerial fiber placement, placing aerial fiber enclosures, placing aerial fiber drops with nid placement, fiber splicing, OTDR testing and red lighting to verfy fiber counts. Perdium is not available for this project. The job requires all techs to provide their own hand tools.
