ITC Service Group (“ITC”), is seeking an experienced Bore Operator in Anaheim, CA. The Bore Operator will be required to execute all aspects of directional drilling preparations, including optimizing the bottom hole assembly (BHA) configurations, conducting visual inspections of tools and equipment, measuring inner /outer tool diameters, ensure proper strapping tools and troubleshooting, as required for operation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

· Field experience with utility locating equipment (such as TK) to identify buried telephone, CATV, power, gas and water lines.

· Responsible for daily maintenance on truck and boring machine.

· Perform critical care and service to the machine after each use and each day.

· Adhere to ALL manufacturer provided safety operational procedures and industry safety standards.

· Operate the drill and provide training and assistance to co-workers.

· Perform routine labor (pot-holing, equipment set-up, conduit/duct/cable placement, set pedestals) as required.

· Drive tow vehicle with drill to the jobsite.

· Operator will direct others to/or mix bore gel for the machine.

· Prior experience operating drilling equipment required and must work well with others and participate on a crew.

· Must understand utility locate law and compliance procedures.

Qualifications

Work outside in varying weather conditions.
Must be able to communicate effectively.
· To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

· All candidates are subject to a mandatory pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical exam, and must possess and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.



Physical Requirements:

Standing - 6 to 8 hours daily
Walking - 6 to 8 hours daily
Climbing - 6 to 8 hours daily
Bending & Twisting - 6 to 8 hours daily
Pushing & Pulling - 6 to 8 hours daily
Repetitive Motions (grasping, manipulating) - 4 to 5 hours daily
Lifting Heavy Objects (100 lbs.) - Occasionally
Lifting Medium Objects (50 to 90 lbs.) - Often
Lifting & Carrying Objects (50lbs for up to 100 yds) – Regularly
Daily duties and responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

· Uou will be required to execute all aspects of directional drilling preparations, including optimizing the bottom hole assembly (BHA) configurations, conducting visual inspections of tools and equipment, measuring inner /outer tool diameters, ensure proper strapping tools and troubleshooting, as required for operation.

· Ensuring proper steering based on the noted job preparations and projections.

· Troubleshooting and resolving problems, including switching out bits, replacing MWD tools, accessing component wear and tear, motor weakness and any other failures. These functions are not all inclusive of required operation of directional drilling operation.

· Operating horizontal directional drill in accordance with blueprints and designated plans.

· Complying with applicable safety standards and maintaining a safe working environment.

· Responsible for daily maintenance on truck and boring machine.
