In-depth and advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite.
Expert level experience with Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational skills.
Previous experience with telecom, construction, or other large capital project tracking (such as inventory, trending, accounting).
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team-oriented environment.
High degree of focus and attention to detail.
Required Education – Associate’s Degree

Job Description
Founded in 1996, The Broadband Group (TBG) represents cities, municipalities, and large scale Master Planned Communities (MPC) throughout North America. Its affiliated company, TBG Network Services (TBGNS) based in Huntsville, Alabama, is responsible for oversight, design, engineering, and construction management of Huntsville Utilities’ 996-mile fiber construction project, with Google Fiber serving as the Anchor Tenant on the network.
The Data Analyst for TBGNS oversees the regular data entry, maintenance, updating, and modification of critical project tracking spreadsheets related to overall construction build, financial inputs/outputs, and other project related items as appropriate.
Overall responsibility for accurate tracking of key project metrics in Excel.
Regular communication with TBGNS personnel, contractors, and executive leadership.
Reporting of key tracking metrics through email, verbal, and video conferencing communications.
Alerting project managers to any notable issues with performance based on tracking outputs.
Participation in regular reporting meetings as needed.
Maintain records and ensure proper electronic file management.
Other related duties as assigned.
