Qualifications
2+ years experience in CATV installation or construction. Need to be able to read prints and be familiar with installation and construction techniques to serve commercial locations. Must be computer literate and be familiar with excel and outlook or a similar mail service. Must be able to route work locations and manage time. Must have an understanding of ROW and permitting needs. Must clearly understand aerial clearance requirements. References a plus.
Other Requirements
Having your own truck is preferred, but we can supply if needed. All other equipment can be supplied. Must have insurance and be able to pass a pre employment background check. All normal requirements for being badged. Must be able to easily walk, stoop, bend and crawl when necessary.
Job Description
We are looking for someone with experience in CATV installation or construction that is motivated and can provide quality surveys in the Central Illinois area. The ideal candidate would be able to keep up with the fluctuating number of surveys and meet the time frames for completion. You would ideally have the ability to understand prints and provide basic walkout information to build costing for the completion of both OSP and ISP work. You would need to be able to work in Microsoft Excel and be able send in completed surveys. Call for details.
