Job Description
Decisive Communications is a turn-key, solution based organization providing a full suite of services for the telecommunications industry. We are currently in need of a Construction Coordinator in Syracuse, NY. The Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the activities of business partners and their crews. Assigns tasks and inspect work at regular intervals. Review and monitor progress on new build, rebuild, extension, expansion, design, and planning of customer telecommunications networks.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Input and update reports on an Excel platform.
Coordinate site builds to established goals and objectives.
Inspects the quality of work of contractors regularly, ensuring that all standards (federal, state, and Company) are followed.
Ensures that resources (i.e. vehicles, equipment, and inventory) are maintained in proper working order.
Tracks all activity for construction and reports accordingly.
Plans all facets of the construction process, rendering decisions on work flow, production planning and control, material and labor cost control.
Acts as liaison with appropriate engineering and design personnel.
Review and/or submit contractor invoices for approval.
Practice Decisive safety policies and procedures and ensures they are followed.
Consistently exercises independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance required. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
