Job Description
Decisive Communications is a turn-key, solution based organization providing a full suite of services to the telecommunications industry. We are currently seeking a Directional Drill Operator & Locator to report to our Ijamsville, MD office to work the MD, WV & VA areas.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Implement all directional drilling plans and procedures according to company plan and oversee all drilling operations of rig site and ensure compliance to all drilling objectives
Read cable prints and demonstrate good judgment in the field
Locate underground utilities and monitor locating process during drilling
Perform all duties adhering to company safety procedures and policies
Qualifications & Experience:
Prior experience as a directional drill operator and/or locator is required
Prior experience reading cable prints

Must have a valid driver's license
Skills & Abilities:
Ability to operate a 24x40 or 16x20 Vermeer drill or equivalent
Ability to recognize hand signals and directions from locator or operator
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
