Job Description

The Safety Manager’s primary job responsibilities include training to as well as monitoring and enforcing company safety policies and procedures, while maintaining stringent compliance with OSHA, New York State DOSH and other regulatory agencies.

Duties and responsibilities include:
•Train & Educate – Monitor & Enforce all company and local/state/federal agency safety policies with every level of staff.
•Engage with Field Office staff to identify safety needs & make recommendations.
•Identify potential risks; prepare written reports and corrective action related to any safety issues.
•Ensure all required safety training is proactively scheduled and fulfilled.
•Conduct weekly safety meetings for all field staff.
•Verify all safety documentation is captured, organized, and filed.
