Pay Rate & Details

Hourly pay rate for ingress mitigation. Production rates for coax splicing. 1099 sub-contractors needed. Weekly pay, paid two weeks after date of invoice.


Must be familiar with coax splicing, activation and troubleshooting RF plant problems. Capable of pulling their own weight. Must be ambitious, dependable and on-time.

Other Requirements

Must have own a bucket truck with ladder or pick up truck with ladder, preferred to have a DSAM 6300 or an SDA-5000, coring tools and PPE.

Job Description

We currently have over a thousand nodes for node health work. Must work to get node health score to 100% and clear system events for a three day monitoring status before node is accepted. Work will require troubleshooting ingress, impulse noise, coax splicing, system rebalancing and sweep work to troubleshoot any fix any hardline issues. High pass filters are placed at the tap. No work to be done within the customer premises. This work is hourly up to 80 man-hours per node. After 80 hours, a discounted rate is paid out.

We also have an ongoing system upgrade for node plus zero project that will be ongoing for many years to come. This will require skilled coax splicers to cut in passives. Node optimization technicians will be handy but not necessary. Techs must have meter capable of troubleshooting RF related issues and checking end of the line taps after node is optimized. This is paid on production with incentive for rear easements.
