Our continued growth warrants the additional of several aerial linemen. Let's make 2018 successful and profitable for both of us. Aerial construction applicants need verifiable aerial experience with both coax & copper. Must be capable of reading design & strand maps, operate bucket trucks, climb up to 30' height, ability to perform aerial maintenance, line extensions, and pole transfers.

Other Requirements

Good Criminal Background - No felonies involving theft or violence. Valid Driver's License (CDL a plus). Must Be Drug Free. Proof of Legal Ability to work in the US. Strong Problem Solving Skills, Dependable, Responsible.

Job Description

Must know all hardware required to meet company specifications
• Operate vehicle and bucket lift safely, following all safety and traffic regulations
• Read maps and designs of CATV construction.
• Responsible for the operation, daily maintenance checks, and inspection of all aerial equipment
to ensure working order
• Complete knowledge of proper cable reel trailer loading and setup
• Maintain proper inventory on vehicle based on work assignment
• Throw 1-2 lb. weighted rope over elevated cable lines, and tree branches
• Pull lashing equipment down cable lines to secure wires
• Use pounding equipment to install grounding rods and anchors into ground
• Assist in pulling out cable lines and other equipment used in installing cable lines
• Install equipment and dress pole to customer specifications, using assorted small hand and
power tools
• Operate chain hoist to add tension to cable and guy wires
• Knowledgeable of reading and understanding design prints\maps and work orders
• Position requires daily attendance and on time arrival
• Direct traffic flow in accordance with local D.O.T. guidelines
