Qualifications
Experienced in pole transfers, simple and complex, hanging self-support, building attachments, remove/replace lockbox, coax splicing, transfer drops.
Other Requirements
Vehicle (bucket truck is desired), safety gear, all tools of the trade, ladders, meters, etc.
Job Description
•Control all operations to ensure that all coax splicing is completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications.
•Have all needed tools and equipment available at the job-site, working from design prints or redesigns, and keeping track of production.
•Must own all required hand tools and ladders to perform the daily functions of the position. Having a bucket truck or being able to climb is a plus.
•Field train and control/oversee the work of other Coax Splicers under you if necessary.
•Resolve complaints with property owners in areas that you’re working, unless MDU Manager assistance is needed.
•Fill-out daily production reports, mark-up maps associated with daily work reports.
•Have open availability. Some weekend required.
•Be able to perform the physical tasks required in this position.
•Must be able to pass background.
This project is 5-6 years in the Nashville market with future projects possible for the right candidates. SOW is being able to perform pole transfers, simple and complex, hanging self-support, building attachments, remove/replace lockbox, coax splicing, transfer drops.
This position will report to the MDU/Splicing Manager
