Qualifications

The main role of the Account Executive is to develop and support the external customer base. This role will build new and existing customer relationships to support the company revenue goals. Open and constant communication with all these parties is one of the most important functions of the Account Executive. The Account Executive will manage sales forecasting, RFPs and bid opportunities of construction projects. This position reports to the CEO.

Other Requirements

BS degree in Management, Business or other related technical discipline; and/or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of Sales experience in the telecommunications construction industry with emphasis on direct customer interface. Working knowledge of fiber optic and coax construction. Must possess outstanding communication skills, written and verbal, as well as, strong inter-personal skills as he/she interfaces with subordinates, peers, customers and vendors.

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
Development of positive customer rapport and communication path with new and existing customer base.
Increase revenue base with new customers and projects.
Research and development of new projects including RFPs and bid opportunities.
Monthly sales forecasting including updates to internal management regarding new revenue opportunities, RFPs and client matters.
Balance customer initiatives, company initiatives and priorities.
Outstanding critical thinking and decision making process, anticipation of risky business situations with deliberate and swift response to same.
Extensive reporting and schedule monitoring of all revenue opportunities.
Plan and lead both onsite and offsite meetings with internal and external customers as needed.
Works in a collaborative fashion with the CEO.


REQUIREMENTS
BS degree in Management, Business or other related technical discipline; and/or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of Sales experience in the telecommunications construction industry with emphasis on direct customer interface.
Working knowledge of fiber optic and coax construction.
The individual must possess outstanding communication skills, written and verbal, as well as, strong inter-personal skills as he/she interfaces with subordinates, peers, customers and vendors.
The position will require some regional travel, less than 10%.
Valid US Driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to work on multiple projects at once.
Highly organized person and can show planning and processes to support daily work
Practical and conceptual thinking as related to project descriptions and needs.
Excellent verbal, written, phone, and interpersonal skills.
Negotiation and compromise skills.
