Job Description

Responsibilities

Position will manage and coordinate fiber construction in and around city limits. Determine optimum locations based on existing plant and other factors such as right-of-way, cost, etc. Manage contractors and in-house resources, coordinating schedules to meet deadlines and provide inter-departmental reporting. Additional duties will include identifying permitting requirements, putting together BOM’s and Notice-To-Proceed (NTP) packages for contractors, trouble shooting on site, and performing QC.
Qualifications

Qualified candidates should meet the following requirements:
10 years in the cable industry
5+ years in cable construction
Strong background in both fiber construction and associated engineering at hub sites.
Experience managing contractors and coordinating multi-site construction projects
Working knowledge of Bentley / AutoCAD
Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Candidate must have own vehicle in acceptable condition (to be determined by hiring manager) - mileage reimbursement will be paid at standard Federal rate.
