Job Description
OSP Field Engineer-West Virginia.
• Qualified candidates will demonstrate the following skill sets for this immediate fill position:
• Verifiable work history of aerial and buried field engineering experience to include pole data collection and buried fiber construction design. Ability to determine pole make ready requirements in accordance with NESC specifications.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Must be able and willing to meet deadlines as prescribed.
• Proficient computer skills with common software programs. AutoCAD experience a plus
• Effective communication and problem solving skills.
• Confident in working with customers, the general public, licensing and permitting authorities.
• Highly motivated-self-starting person.
• Responsible and one who holds him or herself to high standards and is self accountable.
• Must be able to report promptly and on time to all appointments and to work without excuse.
• Tele-height measuring stick, range finder, GPS, camera, laptop, road safety equipment required
• Work will be strenuous in mountainous terrain. Four wheel drive vehicle required.
• Will consider a 1099 contract status or W-2 employee.
