Weekly paychecks with a full benefit package starting after 90 days of service.

Qualifications

At least 2 years experience of being a Lineman, Coax Splicer or Fiber Splicer. High School Completion or equivalent. Background check and Drug Testing will be required. We are also looking for Laborers and Ground Men to start from the bottom with no experience. Willing to train the right candidate. Must be self motivated and hard working.

Other Requirements

Hand tools of your trade will be required. Vehicles and larger equipment will be supplied by ICON.

Job Description

We are a leading telecommunications contractor working throughout Maine and NH seeking qualified fiber and/or coax splicers.  Must be able to read maps as well as run your own crew.  Clean driving record is a must as you would have use of truck, tools and all necessary equipment.  This is a full time plus job with medical and dental benefits as well as paid sick days after 90 days of full time service.  Paid vacations as well as a 401K available after 1 year.  This is an excellent opportunity for anyone seeking work or grow their family in this state.  To qualify you would need to be able lift/carry up to 80lbs.  Background and drug screening will be required.
Most work is concentrated in the Portland Area, but full Maine and NH coverage is common.
