ITC Service Group is seeking a Coax Splicer to join our team of industry professionals. Take your career to the next step with us!
We currently have an opportunity in Santa Clara and South San Francisco areas with a leading provider of engineering, construction, and testing services for coaxial and fiber optic cable systems. The position offers great opportunity for growth, as well as medical benefits and paid holidays.
Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Self-supervise all operations to ensure that all splicing operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications
This includes ensuring that all needed tools and equipment are available at the jobsite, working from engineered blueprints, and keeping track of production
Climb poles to complete daily construction assignments as needed
Field train and control/oversee the work of other Splicers when necessary
Resolve complaints with property owners in areas that you’re working. (Talk to residents & explain what it is we are doing)
Fill-out daily production reports, mark-up maps, keep track of work hours, complete "as-built maps" for areas built
Reconcile all issued parts and materials on a daily basis to ensure accurate material usage counts
Possess a valid driver’s license (class "C" minimum) or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position (possibly class "B" - light commercial)
Capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions
Willingness to work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime when necessary
