Pre-employment Requirements: Satellite Country technicians must have:
A white truck or cargo van, with a current valid Driver's license.
Basic Tools and Ladders. ( Additional list will be provided)
Smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
Computer knowledge including email and internet browsing.
LLC, EIN, General Liability/Workers Comp Insurance Policy.
Pass background and drug screen.

We provide dispatchers and management team to assist you. You will receive $1,000 sign on bonus which is divided in the duration of your contract.

Hiring Immediately Satellite Technicians for the following areas: Lafayette, Lake Charles, Baton Rouge, Alexandria, New Iberia, Leesville, Natchitoches, Deridder, Hammond, Opelousas, Ville Platte, Many, Marksville, Cottonport, Fort Polk, Sulphur, Raine, Eunice.
Satellite Country is a leading Installation company for Dish Network in Louisiana and Texas. We are looking for new applicants that are interested in becoming a full time Dish Installation Technician Contractor.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Are you seeking an opportunity to control your own income, management and success? Can you be a natural leader and adapt to the new technology? Do you like to work in an indoor/outdoor environment, interacting with people, and providing great customer service? At Satellite Country, we invest in our contractors to become the best installation technicians in the Louisiana area. We provide free workshops that consist of riding with a senior technician, learning how to handle and install high end equipment in customers' homes. You will be responsible for documenting through a smartphone, tablet or laptop and communicate with your local office.

Technician Primary Responsibilities:
MANDATORY - All techs must be able to sell additional products i.e. surge protectors, screen cleaners, sound bars, wireless headphones, tv mounts etc..
INSTALLATION - mounting satellites, observing and conducting site surveys for the strongest signal reception, educating the customer of their new service and equipment.
Successful Satellite TV Technician will have the following:
MANDATORY SELLING ADDITIONAL HIGH END PRODUCTS
Excellent communication skills i.e. written and verbal.
Strong multi-tasking skills, energetic, and resourceful.
Audio and video skills preferably, basic computer skills.
Great customer service skills; friendly and motivated with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity.
Ability to climb and work on a ladder, lift over 70 lbs at times, crawl into small spaces, work in all climates.
Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays and evenings.
High school diploma or GED preferred; college or technical/vocational school a plus.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Cable industry or electrical experience is a plus.
