Job Description
Positions open for experienced Linemen at RTEL Construction, LTD.
Responsibilities Will Include:
• Knowledgeable of reading and understanding prints, maps, and work orders
• Prepare paperwork to track daily production, and accurately as-built completed work on job site prints
• Knowledgeable in the operation of T40 Bucket trucks as well as 1 ton bucket trucks
• Responsible for the operation, daily maintenance checks, and inspection of all equipment and tools
• Place strand and dress pole to customer specifications, using assorted small hand and power tools
• Set anchors where required by customers
• Operate chain hoist to add tension to cable and guy wires
• Able to pull fiber optic cables and other cables into conduit and place onto strand
• Lash cables and splice cases onto strand
• Ability to climb utility poles (is a plus but not required)
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment during all times of the year
• Direct traffic flow in accordance with local D.O.T. guidelines
• Position requires daily attendance and on time arrival
• Willingness to work both individually and in a team environment
• Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers, homeowners, and our customers
• Valid Driver's License (CDL PREFERRED)
RTEL is based out of Aubrey, near the Hwy 380 corridor. We work all across the greater DFW metroplex and are an ever-expanding company. We are looking for honest, hard-working individuals to add to our team. All equipment and tools will be provided by RTEL. Most work is done during the regular work week but some after hours work is required as needed to restore service to our customers. We pay competitively, based off experience. Individual must have valid driver’s license and be able to pass a Texas background check. RTEL Construction offers Competitive Pay, Health Insurance, and paid vacation.
