ITC Service Group (“ITC”), is a leading provider of broadband installation, planning, design and staffing solutions to the telecommunications industry. Through our wireless division, ITC provides outsourced services for the wireless communications industry, including planning, deployment, construction, and management of network build-outs. ITC’s wireless division provides wireless carriers with comprehensive real estate site acquisition and zoning services, radio frequency and network design and engineering, infrastructure equipment construction and installation, maintenance, DAS and in-building services, small cell deployment, radio transmission base station modification and project management services.
ITC Service Group is currently hiring senior - level Field/Tower Technicians for our Woodland, CA team. The Tower Technician II will conduct work in buildings, on rooftops, and on cell towers for installations and/or troubleshooting of wireless antenna systems. Experience with most cable types, fiber, connectors, antennas, weatherproofing, grounding, etc. a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):
· Running, supporting, and terminating coax and fiber.
· Installation of connectors, antennas, and other radio components.
· Knowledge of fiber and coax a plus.
· To qualify for the position, all Tower Technician candidates are subject to a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical exam, and must possess and hold a valid driver license with a clean driving record. In addition, qualified candidates must be able to meet the qualifications and physical requirements of the position.
Physical requirements include:
· Ability to meet physical demands of listed duties.
· Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
· Ability to bend, lift, twist, squat, kneel, sit for extended periods of time.
· Ability to work outside and withstand varied inclement weather conditions.
· Ability to reach, climb, and/or grasp ladders or other tall structures.
· Applicant/Employee weight may not exceed 300-pounds to meet manufacturer specified weight limits of the safety equipment.
· Applicant/Employee waist circumference must not exceed 60 inches measured at the navel to meet manufacturer safety equipment specification.
· Ability to successfully complete and maintain any job required safety training.
· Ability and comfortability to climb and work at heights up to 350 feet with 50 lbs. of climbing gear.
Mandatory Qualifications:
· Must be able to adhere to industry OSHA safety standards while ensuring the quality of work.
· Must have basic knowledge of power and hand tools.
· Must have basic construction knowledge.
· Required education is high school or equivalent.
· Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Additional Qualifications:
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is a plus.
· Civil experience a plus.
