Nichols Construction, LLC is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Crew Foreman. Prior experience in telecommunication or utility construction and a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred for the Crew Foreman position.

The Crew Foreman position will be responsible for the following duties (subject to change):

Aerial and ground applications of utility construction;
Climbing wooden poles in excess of 40 feet high;
Operating bucket trucks and other telecommunication and utility construction equipment;
Leading a crew of 2 or more employees in day-to-day operations;
Answering after hours call-outs as needed;
Ensuring all Company-required as well as legal regulations are followed during the scope of work;
Completing time and production paperwork;
Promoting and ensuring a safe working environment.

Preferred Qualifications for the Crew Foreman position (subject to change):

1-3 years prior experience in a Crew Foreman-like role;
3-5 years prior experience in telecommunications or utilities construction;
Current and valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Required Qualifications for the Crew Foreman position (subject to change):

Valid driver's license without restrictions;
Travel with overnight stay;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Completing time and production paperwork in an orderly and timely manner;
Ability to lead a crew of 2 or more employees;
Ability to answer after-hours call-outs as needed;
Ability to climb wooden poles in excess of 40 feet high;
Ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds;
Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed;
Ability to work as part of a team.
Compensation for the Crew Foreman position will be based on experience and qualifications. Cafeteria benefit options are available as well as 401(k) retirement, Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays.
