Overview:
Project Resources Group is looking for an Auto CAD Drafter to join our team in Manhattan, NY. The ideal CAD drafter will be needed for CATV and fiber optic system design for our growing telecommunications consulting company.
Responsibilities:
Supporting customer design projects
Managing everyday projects and challenges
Working with our great client base and contractor partners
Operate CAD system
Qualifications:
Required education:
Associate's Degree preferred
Required experience:
CAD or Visio: 1 years
Must possess the ability to read & interpret contract drawings and customer sketches as well as ability to create and modify drawings in CAD/CAM software
Must have a high mathematic and logical aptitude, especially with fractions and decimals as a unit of measure (millimeters and inches)
Accuracy in data entry
Strong customer service skills, organizational skills self-motivation, and the ability to multitask and work independently
Self-starter, motivated with ability to start and finish a project on time
Must be highly detail oriented and have the ability to solve problems with little guidance
