Other Requirements
Minimum High School graduate and several years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Description
The Project Foreman is primarily charged with field supervision of fiber optic technical teams and serves along side the Project Manager as an assistant in management-specific duties related to running the overall operation.
This includes oversight of the daily fiber work order flow and support and supervision of fiber technicians.
The Foreman leads the project in Quality Control inspections and technician training/corrections. Foreman is required to be able to troubleshoot mainline fiber issues in the field and create solutions to technical problems.
In addition, the Foreman will:
• Assist Project Manager in technician hires, training, certification, evaluations, and terminations
• Assist Project Manager in work order tracking and data entry supervision
• Assist Project Manager in Fleet Management tasks and equipment maintenance
• Assist Project Manager in asset management and reporting
• Assist Project Manager in customer complaint and damage resolution as needed
• Assist in varied reports and project research as required
