Qualifications
All crews must be fully capable of completing MDU work. Building taps, moving hardline, splicing coax and capable of mounting and grounding MDU lock boxes. Pay is top tier and we will not spend time training, experienced crews only.
Other Requirements
Tools needed are as follows: 2" cable cutters. 9" lineman pliers. .500, .625, .750, .875 coring tools. RF Meter. Torch for heat shrink. Utility knife. Channel locks. Volt/Ohm meter. 500' rodder, cable caddy for mule tape, Chinese finger, cable trailer- must have cable rollers or jack stands if you do not have the trailer. Standard tools, drills, hammers ect.
Job Description
Splicing coax at the pole. Moving hardline from pole to building. Installing conduit, moving hardline through conduit. Mounting lock box, building tap interface and grounding lock box securely. Tying over all existing drops into new tap interface. Fiber is an option in the future once we have the MDU portion caught up. This is a Comcast market, all work in TN is slated for the next 6-8 years.
