Description:
As an aerial foreman you are responsible for performing construction installations as requested by the cable company.
Successful candidate must have 3.5 years prior experience as aerial construction crew foreman in CABLE TV industry.
Position is responsible to direct and train crew members.
Crew foreman must be capable of completing accurate daily, weekly crew production reporting.
Required valid Class A CDL driver's license. (or able to obtain one)
Must pass background check and drug screening.
Represent the Company in a professional manner while dealing with customer and the public.
This position is considered "high impact" to the success of the company.
The customer interface is extremely important and this position's performance will be closely monitored by our client and local management.

Summary of essential job functions

• Knowledgeable of reading and understanding electronic design work prints\maps and work orders
• Position requires daily attendance and on time arrival
• Foreman will be responsible to have crew attend weekly safety meetings
• Complete knowledge of proper cable reel trailer loading and setup
• Must know all hardware required to meet company specifications
• Foreman ensures the maximum production of the crew on a regular and routine basis.
• Must be able to work without direct supervision on a daily basis.
• Foreman is responsible to ensure all materials are on vehicle to meet daily production quota's
• Capable to lift up to a required 75 lbs.
• Utilizes working knowledge of all tools and equipment to install coax and fiber cables
• Must have working knowledge of a bucket truck to assist in construction
• Crew foreman must have the ability to climb utility poles and perform lineman duties
• Organizes and maintains security of company equipment on assigned vehicle
• Foreman is responsible for assuring crew members take care and treat company equipment properly
• Ensure all construction activities are performed in the most safe manner
• Crew foreman has responsibility to ensure crew members are safe workers Summary of essential job functions
• Conducts company truck equipment inventory audits weekly
• Provides notification to company management on equipment discrepancies
• Utilizes good listening and verbal communications skills to understand and clarify needs of crew members and company management
• Recognizes, practices, and enforces safety rules and procedures.
• Must have working knowledge of DOT MOT traffic control procedures
• Wear proper safety apparel, which includes: hard hats (when exiting truck on any work site) where required, DOT reflective work vest, and proper foot ware. (boots)
• Performs other duties as assigned.
