Qualifications
RF Technology
Forward-end return signal
Coax – RF lines testing for balanced signal between points – continuity and fault
Troubleshooting and repair of Coax line and line equipment
Activation of a RF line and signal
RF interference detection
Final certification of a RF line and correct signal balance
Read and understand site plans, maps and diagrams needed to support project
Splice overhead coaxial cables, underground experience is welcome but not required
Other Requirements
Must have your own tools and bucket truck or a trucks.
Job Description
Coax Splicer Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
RF Technology

Coax – RF lines testing for balanced signal between points – continuity and fault
Troubleshooting and repair of Coax line and line equipment
Activation of a RF line and signal
RF interference detection
Final certification of a RF line and correct signal balance
Read and understand site plans, maps and diagrams needed to support project
Splice overhead coaxial cables, underground experience is welcome but not required
Cut and prepare coaxial cable prior to splicing and prepare electronics
This includes ensuring that all needed tools and equipment are available at the job site, working from engineered blueprints, and keeping track of production.
complete daily construction assignments as needed.
Resolve complaints with property owners in areas that you’re working. (Talk to residents & explain what it is we are doing).
Fill-out daily production reports, mark-up maps, keep track of work hours, complete "as-built maps" for areas built.
Possess a valid driver’s license (class "C" minimum) or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position (possibly class "B" - light commercial).
Capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions.
Must demonstrate proficiency as a pole climber.
Must own all required hand tools and climbing gear needed to perform the daily functions of the position.
Must maintain own commercial insurance and worker’s comp insurance.
Must be able to pass background and drug screen
