Qualifications
MUST HAVE TELCO experience (Prefer old school phone guys 20-30 years) with the following: 66 block terminations, 66 cross connects, IW troublshooting, toning, RJ11 crimping, 25-50 Pair splicing, PBX experience is okay too if you've actually done 25-50 pair terminations and splicing.
Other Requirements
You (or your crew) must have own truck, tools and insurance necessary to get the jobs done.
Job Description
We will be taking the secondary pair of each cat3 home run drop from the demarc and sending a vDSL signal down said pair. Most of these demarcation run's will terminate in the kitchen of each apartment unit behind a wallplate and then the other outlets will be daisy chained throughout the unit. If you're familiar with the old AT&T broadband IVP installs from the early 2000's then this work will resemble that. Once the line is toned, tagged and cross connected (Spliced with Scotch Locks) from the LEC box to our NEMA box (66 punch) then you'll simply crimp on an RJ11 jack and connect it directly to our wireless account point and mount it in the wall. You will need to test following our testing criteria once it is in the wall and tied on.
We will need a team who can mount the NEMA boxes and splice in the pre-buried 25 pair telephone cable to our building 66 punch down blocks. This same team will be responsible for punching down the blocks in the IDF at our vDSL distribution facility.
We're looking for bids to get this work done! Please send pricing for each part. If you're a company that also has a bury crew that is a plus.
We will be burying 25 pair direct bury and 6 strand multi-mode fiber from the MDF (Leasing Office) to each individual IDF (MDU). If you're interested in drop bury then look at our other cabl bar ad regarding telco/fiber drop MDU buries.
Finally we need to know pricing now. Like no later than by Monday. There are 3 properties starting with almost 400 units and then there will be a new property every 4 months. We may potentially market our solutions to other MDU and hospitality customers if we can get the right team in place.
