Nichols Construction, LLC is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Laborer. Prior experience in telecommunication or utility construction (both buried and aerial) is preferred for the Laborer position.
The Laborer position will be responsible for the following duties (subject to change):
Aerial and buried applications of utilities construction;
Job site maintenance (Examples: Right-of-way clearing, etc.);
Assisting crew in day-to-day operations;
Completing time and production paperwork;
Promoting and ensuring a safe working environment.
Preferred Qualifications for the Laborer position (subject to change):
1-3 years prior experience in the utility construction industry;
Any prior experience in general construction.
Required Qualifications for the Laborer position (subject to change):
Valid driver's license without restrictions;
Travel with possible overnight stay;
Ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds;
Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed;
Ability to work as part of a team.
Compensation for the Laborer position will be based on experience and qualifications. Cafeteria benefit options are available as well as 401(k) retirement, Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays.
