-Michigan Chauffeur’s License and DOT Med Card, or ability to obtain one in timely manner (with Company’s assistance)
-Able and willing to work outdoors and in inclement weather conditions
-Some overnight travel required (with per diem) -Ability to safely operate truck and boom
Job Description
Foreman Fiber Optics Lineman
Primary responsibilities for this position include leading an aerial construction jobsite to efficiently meet expectations of our customers by leading the crew to perform safely, efficiently and work within TKNS and Industry standards. This includes effective communication with customers, team and pedestrians, foresight to set the job up efficiently, knowledge to lead the crews during unexpected issues.
Lead crew with the following work:
-Install, upgrade, repair or remove aerial cables
-Work safely, follow safe work practices and procedures and wear mandated Personal Protective Equipment.
-Complete work as directed by jobsite foreman
-May provide instruction to others, including assisting in training of less experienced lineman and ground-hands
-Preventative maintenance of equipment, including truck and trailer
-Maintain clean and safe work site
Foreman truck, tools, laptop, iphone all provided.
