Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Generate New Business
• Establish and maintain new customer relationships
• Daily prospecting on potential customers
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet organization goals
• Define and execute sales objectives and goals
• Provide sales activity reports on a pre-defined frequency that includes sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed expansion
• Represent organization at trade meetings and/or events
• Deliver sales presentations to customers
• Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as requested.

Interaction with Others (Internal/Organizational and External/Customer Contact)
• Some contacts with others, including organization personnel and general public. Purpose of contact is to generate new business.
• Requires normal courteous interaction and basic interpersonal skills and tact to communicate with others. Non-routine inquiries and/or complaints are referred to others. Other limited external contact may be required to obtain information and/or to make inquiries of others.
• Attention to Communication – Ensuring that information is passed on to others who should be kept informed.
• Customer Orientation – Demonstrated concern for satisfying one’s external and/or internal customers.
• Initiative – Identifying what needs to be done and doing it before being asked to or required by the situation.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
• This position has no supervisory responsibilities

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Non smoking office environment
• Trade show floors where noise levels may be moderate to heavy.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Lift, push, pull up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Operate various office equipment – computer keyboard, calculator, copy machine, telephone.
• Sitting up to 6 hours per day.

TRAVEL
• Travel with multiple overnight stays is required with this position.
