Qualifications
Looking for an I&R/DSL Supervisor to lead & direct installation teams consisting of 10 or more personnel.
Job Description
• MUST be EXPERIENCED I&R/DSL Supervisor with G Bonding DSL experience.
• Must know how to run jumpers in Central Office, and at cross box.
• Must also be familiar with clearing cable pairs, as well as installing/replacing NID's, Aerial drops, and customer wiring (CAT 5).
• Must have vast copper troubleshooting experience.
• Must have working knowledge of JDSU HST 3000 test meter or equivalent.
• Must be able to make fast paced corrective decisions
• Managing a crew of up to twenty (20) Company employees performing the construction, installation, and maintenance of copper based outside plant facilities and service
• Reporting daily attendance and approval of hours worked by personnel
• Monitoring and ensuring expected performance by technicians.
• Provide daily required team coverage, tier 1 onsite support, performing work inspections on personnel, and reporting results.
• Participant in the hiring, firing and performance reviews and management of assigned personnel.
• Reviewing, correcting, approving, and submitting required paperwork to include, but not limited to, timesheets, invoices, and daily production reports.
• Point of contact for escalations
• The majority of your time will consist of:
o Managing the field tech business at your assigned location and their performance
o Overseeing and directing assigned personnel; and
o Using business judgement to meet Client expectations
o Work to ensure SLA’s are met or exceeded.
o Making face-to-face customer contacts while communicating with customers while overseeing the work performance of personnel.
