Fully Qualified I&R Tech with strong understanding of Cable, Bridge Tap and load coil Detection and removal.

Must have Truck Tools and All PPE. JDSU required. We will provide if needed.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR ARE TECHS THAT CAN COMPLETE A BONDED INSTALL FROM THE CENTRAL OFFICE ALL THE WAY TO THE CUSTOMERS LIVING ROOM. THIS INCLUDES CONDITIONING THE COPPER CABLE PAIR FOR INSTALLATION BY LOCATING AND REMOVING BRIDGE TAPS AND LOAD COILS. IT WILL INCLUDE INSTALLING NID’s. IT ALSO INCLUDES INSTALLING, TERMINATING, AND TESTING CAT 5 CABLE AS WELL AS PROVISIONING THE MODEM.

I&R

I&R Techs are engaged with performing installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of high-speed Internet, video and voice networks including associated wiring and equipment. Additionally maintaining and repairing outside plant facilities within assigned geographic service areas.

Responsibilities
•Use a shovel and pick to dig up and bury cable; and may be required to work in manholes or controlled environmental vaults (CEV).
•Locate buried telephone cables.
•Observe all safety rules and regulations.
•Assist other Technical personnel in the performance of their duties when requested.
•Must convey a positive and professional appearance and demeanor when communicating the company's products and services to our customers.
•Actively support sales and marketing related activities.
•Direct customer facing work and sales referrals. Accountability/dependability (on time and on load when scheduled and serve on call as needed).
•Teamwork (technical expertise developed to complete work efficiently to achieve work group key service measures).

Technician must have own Truck, Van 0r SUV with Ladder Rack
Technician will provide their own tools to perform their job. Laptop and Or Smart Phone may be required.
Technician will provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for the position. Lace up boots with a defined 1/2 inch heel, hard hat, Reflective Safety vest, Fall resistor (harness). Safety Cones. Other equipment may be required by local Management.
Background and Drug test required.
