Qualifications
MUST HAVE TRUCK AND TOOLS! Qualified technicians must have their own truck/ Van / SUV and basic hand tools, along with any meters necessary to complete res/bus pots and DSL installations, JDSU 3000 may be needed. Techs should have any ladders necessary to perform aerial work. A laptop and or Cell Phone may be required. Along with all safety equipment required to do the job. If you have a less experience friend that would like to come along, that's fine. 2 trucks are required!
Other Requirements
JDSU meters are required. We can rent the meter to you so you can get to work faster!
Job Description
Installation and repair technicians are engaged with performing installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of high-speed internet, video and voice networks including associated wiring and equipment. Additionally, maintaining and repairing outside plant facilities within assigned geographic service areas.
- Technician must have own truck, van or SUV with ladder rack
- Technician must have their own tools to perform the job
- Technician must also have personal protective equipment (PPE), lace up boots (with a defined 1/2 inch heel), a hard hat, reflective safety vest, fall resistor (harness), and safety cones
- Other equipment may be required by local management
