Qualifications
Experience with residential installation of low voltage networks.
Ability to terminate and test telephone, High Speed Data and CATV. Install battery pack and 12vdc power cable. Set up routers set tops and wireless devices. Ability to access attics crawl spaces and work from ladders.
Other Requirements
Truck or Van ladders and tools for installation. Cat5 tester, Butt set Laptop and smart phone. I have optical meters to verify light at premise. Experience prepping and bonding fiber drops a plus.
Job Description
Upgrade project converting residential customers from copper to FTTH. (NO LINE WORK) Install premise electronics,battery pack,move all services from copper to fiber ONT. Test existing services and install new outlets and equipment as required. Most projects for Independent telephone companies RUS funded.
